Terry Poole to lead Flatiron’s Heavy Civil Division
(Longmont, Colo.) July 26, 2010 - Flatiron, one of the nation's largest transportation and infrastructure contractors, has promoted Terry Poole to president of the company's Heavy Civil Division. Mr. Poole, who has been with Flatiron for more than 13 years, will be based out of Flatiron's corporate headquarters in Colorado and will oversee the division, which focuses on large and technically complex transportation projects. He previously served as the division's vice president of operations.
"Terry's proven leadership skills will enable Flatiron to continue its successful operations on large-scale infrastructure projects across the country," said Bob French, COO. A Canada native, Terry received his degree in construction engineering from Fanshawe College in London, Ontario and today has more than 30 years of experience in the heavy civil construction industry. He spent 16 of those years managing large-scale, technically challenging bridge and highway projects, specializing in design-build and public-private partnerships (P3).
