DBE Utilization
Flatiron is committed to maximizing opportunities for California Unified Certification Program (CUCP) Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) to participate on this innovative project. We are collaborating with Caltrans and several local technical assistance organizations to identify firms interested in bidding on the project and joining the team.
DBEs are for-profit small business concerns where socially and economically disadvantaged individuals own at least a 51% interest and also control management and daily business operations. If you are not currently certified as a DBE, but are interested in gaining certification visit this site:
