Small Business Mentorship Program Launched in Texas

Participating firms learning valuable new skills

With a commitment to building strong small business partnerships in Texas, Flatiron has launched the Supplier Diversity Mentorship Program for certified Disadvantaged Business Enterprise firms.

“Texas represents a key growth market for us. It is crucial that we support and develop our small business partners in a way that drives mutual benefit, enhancing both their success and the value we deliver to our clients.” said Texas Vice President and District Manager Kurt Knebel.

The ten firms selected for the first cohort participate in educational workshops and other events. Several Flatiron departments, including Operations, Project Controls, Estimating, Health & Safety, and Quality are involved in the mentorship program. The first workshop covered contract administration and change orders.

A graduation ceremony will be held next summer.
