Mike leads Flatiron operations in the Northwest Division — collaborating with clients, industry partners, project teams and colleagues to successfully deliver complex infrastructure projects. Mike has achieved success in a broad range of construction leadership roles during his 38 years in heavy civil construction. Now in his 25th year with Flatiron, he has worked with project teams to deliver multi-staged highway, bridge and other infrastructure projects — including California High-Speed Rail, the Sacramento Airport Airside Expansion, Calaveras Dam Replacement and the I-405 Renton to Bellevue Expansion. Mike holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management from California State University, Chico. He is a trainer for the Caltrans Fundamentals of Partnering, a member of the Caltrans Construction Partnering Steering Committee and a member of Association of General Contractors of California.

Flatiron's Northwest Division has extensive experience building and repairing transportation infrastructure on the West Coast of the U.S. With operations across California and in Washington, Flatiron specializes in bridge and roadway construction, managed lane projects, transit and rail work, utility and underground projects, airport improvement projects and other civil infrastructure. The Division is currently constructing the Presidio Parkway project, a public-private partnership to reconstruct the approach to the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco.
