Denver International Airport Taxiway Expansion Improving Winter Travel

New taxiway and deicing pad will cut down on delays

Forty million travelers.

That’s how many people passed through Denver International Airport in the first six months of this year.

DEN’s remarkable growth over the years introduced many new challenges. Among them is building sufficient ice removal infrastructure to ensure planes can take off quickly and safely during the snowy winter months.

Join us on along Concourse C where Project Engineer Diego Bueno will share insights about our crucial Taxiway DS East project. In the coming months, travelers will experience a newly expanded taxiway, additional deicing spots, and new space for storing snow removal equipment.
