District Manager Recognized by AGC of Washington State
Broomfield, Colorado (Feb 1, 2016) – Paul Mayo, Northwest District area manager for Flatiron, received the Contractor of the Year award from the Associated General Contractors of Washington.
Paul was presented the award at the AGC of Washington convention January 29, 2016.
According to AGC of Washington, “Paul was a key contributor to the AGC-led effort to pass a state transportation package during the last legislative session. He spent countless hours working with AGC’s Government Affairs staff, meeting with legislators and testifying at hearings in Olympia. He also met with members of Washington’s congressional delegation to advocate for a federal transportation package.
“Paul served as co-chairman for WSDOT’s Design/Build committee, working to improve the process. He has been actively involved in AGC’s Next-Generation Task Force to help strategically connect with all generations of members. Paul currently serves on the AGC Board of Trustees.”
Paul has a long history of leading and participating in the execution of major design-build transportation projects, with total contract values in excess of $2 billion. In addition to serving as project manager on design/build transportation projects, Paul has also served as environmental compliance manager, third party/utility coordinator, project controller, and engineering manager.
