Flatiron hosts first-ever women-only reception at Beaverdilly

“This event created an opportunity to validate a woman’s belonging at Beaverdilly and in our industry,” said AGC of California CEO Peter Tateishi.

Flatiron is honored to have hosted the first-ever women-only reception at Beaverdilly, a traditional summer social networking event hosted by The Beavers, a heavy engineering construction association founded in 1955. At the event, we were inspired by comments from the incoming, first female, president of The Beavers, Mary Teichert and Flatiron’s Vice President & NorCal District Manager Sarah Tacker.

We appreciate the significant attendance from the female driving force of the heavy construction industry to celebrate Women in Construction and we are honored to be a part of this important culture-shifting step.
