Success Took Off This Year at Denver International Airport

Flatiron and joint venture partner Turner wrapped up major collaborative project.

One of our proudest moments this year was completing the massive Denver Concourse Expansion Project alongside our sister company, Turner Construction.

This ambitious Construction Manager at Risk program began in 2018 and is crucial for the airport’s goal to accommodate 100 million passengers within the next few years

The Turner-Flatiron joint venture proudly built:

  • 500,000 sq ft Concourse A-West expansion (finished earlier this year) with 16 new gates.
  • 90,000 sq ft Concourse B-West expansion (finished in 2020) with four new gates.
  • The latest milestone, the A-East Ground Load project, delivering 120,000 sq ft of new and remodeled space.

Take a trip behind the scenes with our project manager, Travis Pehlke, before construction wrapped up in October on the 14 new gates for Frontier Airlines.
