Tatiana Thomas Achieves Erosion and Sediment Control Certification

EPA-recognized credential qualifies Thomas to lead stormwater pollution prevention efforts.

Environmental Specialist Tatiana Thomas recently earned the Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Controls certification. The CPESC certification is the only one recognized by the Environmental Protection Agency that designates professionals as qualified to prepare stormwater pollution prevention plans.

“It’s a certification that allows you to inspect and help the project team make choices in managing sediment and erosion control,” said Tatiana. “And it’s a very challenging certification. Not because we want to be hard on our professionals, but because that’s how much they expect.”

By earning this certification, Thomas joins a select group of professionals committed to promoting sustainable construction practices and safeguarding natural resources. Her accomplishment enhances Flatiron’s ability to deliver environmentally responsible infrastructure solutions.

Congratulations to Tatiana Thomas on this significant milestone in her career!
