A Flatiron-led joint venture is building the Greensboro Eastern Loop project in Guilford County, North Carolina, for the North Carolina Department of Transportation. The project is part of an urban loop around the city of Greensboro designed to improve traffic flow within the city.

The project consists of a new five-mile, four-lane freeway from US 70 to US 29 north of Greensboro. The project also includes interchange work as well as the construction of six steel bridges and nine concrete bridges.
