Mike Costa

Senior Vice President – Northwest Division

Mike leads Flatiron operations in the Northwest Division — collaborating with clients, industry partners, project teams and colleagues to successfully deliver complex infrastructure projects.

Mike has achieved success in a broad range of construction leadership roles during his 38 years in heavy civil construction. Now in his 25th year with Flatiron, he has worked with project teams to deliver multi-staged highway, bridge and other infrastructure projects — including California High-Speed Rail, the Sacramento Airport Airside Expansion, Calaveras Dam Replacement and the I-405 Renton to Bellevue Expansion.

Mike holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management from California State University, Chico. He is a trainer for the Caltrans Fundamentals of Partnering, a member of the Caltrans Construction Partnering Steering Committee and a member of Association of General Contractors of California.
