Richard Grabinski

Richard leads Flatiron strategy by focusing on collaborative contracts, emerging market trends and marketplace opportunities to enable long-term, sustainable business growth.
As part of his role leading major operations priorities, Richard provides operational oversight for the Canada Division and serves as Flatiron’s senior executive representative for several high-profile projects throughout North America including California High-Speed Rail in Fresno, Site C Generating Station and Spillways in British Columbia and all collaborative delivery projects.
In line with his future-focus, Richard provides leadership for innovation initiatives and is the Flatiron representative with Nexplore, the HOCHTIEF groupwide platform for digital innovation focused on construction. Richard also oversees various corporate departments to better serve operations throughout North America.
With 30 years of industry experience — 18 years with Flatiron — Richard shares his expertise by serving on the International Partnering Institute Board of Advisors, The Beavers Organization Board of Directors, California Alliance for Jobs Board of Directors, and the AGC of California Statewide Caltrans Liaison Board.
Richard holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Santa Clara University.
